CFG Merchant Solutions LLC (CFGMS) is a leading provider of alternative financing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. The company specializes in revenue-based funding, delivering fast and flexible working capital to businesses that may not qualify for traditional bank loans. We’re looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join our Finance team and help automate manual financial reporting and perform quality assurance on financial dashboards/reports. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, data, and analytics, building SQL queries, performing financial analysis, and creating dashboards that drive better decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual financial and portfolio reports by building optimized SQL queries
• Perform QA on financial and portfolio performance dashboards and reports to ensure accuracy
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards that are accurate, user-friendly, and performance-optimized
• Partner with the financial operations team to improve reporting processes and data workflows
• Translate financial questions into analytics and reporting solutions
• Support a variety of ad-hoc analytical and data needs across the business, collaborating with different departments as priorities evolve.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Excellent SQL skills: ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and structure data for reporting
• Strong Tableau experience: building clear, reliable, and well-designed dashboards
• 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, or BI
• Experience with Excel for framing data insights and communicating results to executives
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation
• Strong attention to detail and a structured problem-solving mindset
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts (Snowflake preferred)
• Strong communication skills (ability to explain data clearly)

Salary Range

$95,000 USD - $125,000 USD
