Role Focus

Full stack developer role with a stronger emphasis on backend Java, plus React-based UI development.

Frontend Expectation

React is preferred. Angular is an acceptable background, but React experience is strongly favored.

Micro Frontend / Micro App

Micro frontend exposure is useful, but a strong backend-heavy candidate can still be a fit if they have sufficient frontend capability.

Ideal Profile Split

A candidate with roughly 60-70% backend and 20-30% frontend experience is ideal.

Production Support

This is an important aspect of the role. The team owns design, build, deployment, and production support, as there is no separate L2 team.

Environment

Cloud-native enterprise applications on AWS. Both modernization work and business initiatives are in scope.

Team Fit

Good communication, a team-player attitude, and comfort working across changing initiatives are important.

Nice-to-have

Any AI exposure, such as GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools, is a plus.

Interview Guidance

Candidates should prepare for video interviews, live coding/screen sharing, and questions related to production ownership and observability.
