What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a UX / Service Designer to support human-centered design initiatives for state and government clients.
This role focuses on designing testable prototypes, facilitating collaborative workshops, and producing high-quality design artifacts to support solution evaluation and delivery.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in working within structured government environments while maintaining a strong focus on accessibility and user experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design and develop testable prototypes to support solution evaluation and stakeholder validation
- Facilitate co-design workshops and engage cross-functional stakeholders, including non-technical participants
- Create journey maps, service blueprints, and visual design artifacts to communicate user experiences
- Develop and maintain sprint documentation, including design files and prototype deliverables
- Ensure all design outputs align with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA
- Collaborate within State-mandated IT tools and environments, adapting to required platforms and constraints
- Support iterative design processes and continuous improvement across project lifecycles
What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years of experience in UX design or service design
- Experience creating low- to mid-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder validation
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with diverse audiences
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA
- Experience working within State or government-mandated IT tools and environments
