MUST HAVE

• Java (5 7 years hands-on, strong backend)
• Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals (query writing + optimization)
• Production troubleshooting/debugging experience

STRONGLY PREFERRED

• AWS (hands-on development + debugging)
• Banking domain experience
• Experience handling complex enterprise applications

GOOD TO HAVE

• DB2 (plus)
• Oracle / PostgreSQL
• Basic scripting (Shell / Windows / platform-level)
• Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes future relevance)

What the Manager is REALLY Looking For

• Developers who can quickly understand large, complex systems
• Strong debugging mindset (NOT just coding)
• Ability to jump into production issues and isolate root cause
• Comfortable speaking with stakeholders on live calls
• Can work without deep domain knowledge initially
• Backend-focused engineers (frontend only 10 20%)
