5G Network Solutions Architect (Remote)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking 5G Network Solutions Architect to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge 5G network architectures and solutions for enterprise and carrier clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mobile network technologies, IP networking, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies such as IoT and edge computing. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, high-performance 5G network solutions, including RAN, Core, and transport networks. Develop comprehensive technical blueprints and documentation for network deployments. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, standards, and vendor solutions. Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to define solution requirements and roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams during deployment phases. Conduct proof-of-concept trials and performance testing of new network capabilities. Troubleshoot complex network issues and develop innovative solutions. Stay current with industry trends, advancements in 5G, and related technologies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and vendors. Present technical solutions and proposals to clients and stakeholders. Ensure network designs meet security best practices and compliance standards. Contribute to the development of technical sales collateral and best practice guides. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture, with a significant focus on 5G technologies. In-depth knowledge of 3GPP standards, 5G NR, SA/NSA architectures, and mobile core network elements (e.g., AMF, SMF, UPF). Strong understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing, switching, and firewalls. Experience with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and NFV/SDN is essential. Familiarity with IoT platforms, edge computing, and application development is desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex network solutions. Experience working effectively in a remote, distributed team environment. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco, cloud-provider certifications) are beneficial.
