About

We are looking for a Senior Developer to support a maintenance project in the infrastructure sector. In this role, you will accompany the implementation of technical components, advise in the architectural context, and support the migration of SAP BW on Hana to BW4HANA using modern web technologies and SAP architectures.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of technical components in applications based on the technology SAP SAPR/3, SAP BW4HANA, JavaScript, ABAP, SQLScript and SAP HANA-native architecture
• Functional support in the preparation and execution of the migration from SAP BW on Hana -> SAP BW4HANA
• Functional support and consulting in the architectural context
• Creation of IT concepts in the project context
• Functional support of requirements workshops with business and IT departments of internal partners
• Effort estimation for the technical solution in the project
• Fixing errors in applications / components
• Conducting reviews of design, code, and tests
• Creation of system documentation
• Creation of delivery packages for the relevant applications

Requirements

• Backend development with SQLScript (in the last 5 years), experience level in years from 5 years
• Frontend development with JavaScript, experience level in years from 5 years
• Backend development with ABAP/CDS-Views (in the last 5 years), experience level in years from 5 years
• Implementation Lead in the area of maintenance: In the context of frontend and backend development (in the last 5 years), experience level in years from 5 years
• Software Architecture Management in the area of maintenance: In the interplay SAP BWonHANA/BW4HANA/SAP Netweaver Gateway, experience level in years from 5 years

Nice to Have

• Current and good knowledge in the following areas of SAP architecture such as SAP BTP, SAP SAC, SAP DI, experience level in years from 5 years
• Presentation know-how: Experience presenting complex issues to top management. Number of references 3
• Methodological competence, process models -> Project references in the CV understandable with agile process models/methods such as SCRUM, SAFe, etc., number of references 3
