For a client in the public sector, we are currently looking for a UX Designer (m/f/d).

IMPORTANT: For this position, willingness for SÜ2 (sabotage protection) is necessary. Additionally, the client requires a free onboarding of approx. 10% of the order value (approx. 80 hours).

For this position, we can offer a maximum net hourly rate of €85.00 for on-site and remote.

Duration: 15.04.2025 - 14.10.2025 Utilization: 800 hours Location: 90% Remote | 10% Nürnberg

Responsibilities

  • Support of agile teams as a UX expert
  • Creation of UX fundamentals related to the Digital Service Portal (esp. Personas and User Journeys)
  • Collection of business requirements for the Digital Service Portal implemented via ServiceNow ESC, as well as usability aspects in workflows and HR cases to be initiated there (including the use of inboxes)
  • Based on the ServiceNow ESC standard, the following tasks should also be fulfilled:
    • Creation of UX Design Patterns in an agile context
    • Development of innovative user-centered and process-wide consistent interfaces using UX design methods
    • Participation, support, and coaching in workshops with agile teams, requirements management, and users
    • Conceptual support in the solution development of the overall topic of ESC interfaces in the Digital Service Portal
    • Development of integration concepts for additional software suites (UX integration)
    • Visualization of solution approaches (mockups and prototypes)
    • Ensure feasibility analyses and their documentation
    • Collaboration with business and IT, presentation and execution of workshops

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow and the ESC portal (desirable)
  • Experience in the accessibility of user interfaces according to BITV2 (required)
  • Specialist knowledge of MS Office (desirable)
  • Proven experience with agile projects (desirable)
  • Atlassian Suite: JIRA & Confluence (desirable)
  • Agile methods (e.g. IPMA Agile Leader, GPM hybrid + PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Prince2 Agile Practitioner, Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org) (desirable)

The low degree of standardization and digitalization requires adaptation to meet challenges. A digital service portal is intended to increase performance, standardize service quality, and reduce administrative tasks. The goal is to automate transactional processes and provide a user-friendly platform for employees and managers, supported by a chatbot and qualified contact information.
