Access Control Systems Engineer

John Evans Recruiting is representing a prestigious organization in Towson, MD in their search for an Access Control Systems Engineer to secure their headquarters facility.

About the Role

The Systems Engineer will manage access control, cameras, and physical security systems for two facilities with 150 cameras and 50 doors.

The Systems Engineer will be required to be onsite 5 days a week in the Maryland headquarters with hours of 9am-4pm. This person will sit at the front desk of the headquarters to support entry and exit of visitors, mail, and packages. The Systems Engineer will also oversee occasional projects related to facility maintenance and renovations.

The primary focus of this role is technical support and management of physical security systems. This person will be the primary lead for alarm and incident response.

Requirements

• Strong technical experience with access control, CCTV, and IP-based security systems required.
• Experience writing physical security procedures and policies strongly preferred.
• Experience with Genetec Security Center is preferred.
• Ability to travel to the West Coast once a year.
