Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records, including daily accounting entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations
  • Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including generating invoices, processing supplier invoices, tracking payments, and managing vendor relationships
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Compliance & Taxation: Assist with statutory submissions (e.g., GST, VAT, TDS), tax filing, and liaison with auditors, tax agents, and external institutions
  • Expense Management: Handle staff expense reports, reimbursements, and petty cash management
  • Budget Assistance: Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis

Administration Responsibilities

  • Office Operations: Manage office supplies inventory, coordinate office facilities maintenance, and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
  • Document Management: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all administrative and accounting records
  • HR Support: Assist with human resources tasks such as maintaining personnel records, tracking leave and attendance, and supporting payroll processing
  • Correspondence: Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing them appropriately
  • Liaison & Coordination: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments. Liaise with external parties such as auditors, company secretaries, and government authorities when required
  • Ad‑hoc Duties: Perform any other ad‑hoc administrative or finance‑related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting

Education

  • Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance or related field

Skill

  • Solid understanding of the New Tax Administration, accounting principles; ability to handle full sets of accounts; experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR); bank reconciliation; financial reporting
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software.

Salary

N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
