About the role
Job Purpose
The Account Executive: Agency Sales is responsible for driving revenue by selling outdoor advertising solutions to potential advertisers. This role blends hunting for new business with nurturing existing relationships, ensuring campaigns are delivered smoothly, and positioning the company as a trusted, go-to media partner.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Actively source and secure new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Grow revenue from existing clients by upselling, cross-selling, and presenting new opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with media agencies, marketers, brand managers, and procurement teams.
- Maintain regular check-ins with clients to understand upcoming campaigns, budgets, and brand objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring quick turnaround on requests and proposals.
Campaign Planning & Proposal Development
- Prepare compelling proposals, media schedules, and presentations aligned with client objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, production, finance, marketing, etc.) to gather accurate inventory availability and pricing.
- Recommend formats, locations, and campaign durations that best serve client goals and budgets.
Market & Industry Insight
- Stay informed about competitor offerings, new site developments, and industry trends (e.g., DOOH expansion, data-led planning, mobile integration).
- Identify gaps or opportunities in the market and proactively share insights with management.
Operational Coordination
- Submit all booked campaigns accurately into internal systems, ensuring correct flighting dates, artwork deadlines, and production requirements.
- Liaise with production teams to ensure artwork is received, approved, printed, and installed on time.
- Monitor campaign delivery and ensure all campaign elements are executed as sold.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, client database, and weekly sales activity reports.
- Track client billing, ensure POs are received, and assist finance with payment follow-ups where necessary.
- Keep detailed records of meetings, feedback, and client communication.
Post-Campaign Delivery
- Provide clients with campaign proofs (photos, OMC data if applicable, post-campaign reports).
- Gather client feedback and identify opportunities for renewals or long-term partnerships.
