Responsibilities

The primary role of the Account Executive is to support Relationship Managers by facilitating relationship onboarding, development, and retention within a designated region. This position serves as a key partner to the Relationship Management team, helping identify, cultivate, and expand opportunities within assigned client and member portfolios to drive growth, engagement, and long-term value for the credit union.

Through proactive phone and email outreach, on-site meetings, and participation in local events, the Account Executive builds strong relationships and ensures members are informed of relevant financial products and services. Using a consultative approach, the Account Executive assesses member needs, connects them with appropriate solutions, and acts as the primary point of contact when needed to advance relationships and support revenue growth. Additionally, the Account Executive provides feedback to management to support ongoing improvements in process and product efficiency and participates in various projects and initiatives within the department. Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers to support onboarding, portfolio development, and retention of business and consumer members
  • Proactively identify opportunities within assigned portfolios through data analysis, relationship insights, and regular member engagement
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, on-site visits, and follow-up activities to deepen member relationships and uncover financial needs
  • Apply a consultative approach to understand short- and long-term member goals and connect members to appropriate credit union products and services
  • Serve as a trusted extension of the Relationship Management team, stepping in as a primary contact when appropriate
  • Participate in networking opportunities, local events, and community engagement activities to strengthen the credit union’s visibility and relationships
  • Promote credit union products and services to individuals and businesses while operating with limited budgetary authority and supervision
  • Monitor portfolio activity, track outcomes, and provide meaningful insights and feedback to Relationship Managers and leadership
  • Share observations and recommendations with management to support continuous improvement in processes, tools, and product efficiency

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
