PCI is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our growing sales team! We provide a fun, energetic environment with a lot of opportunities to learn and grow. This individual will be responsible for generating revenue through pipeline development, nurturing customer relationships and working with our channel partners. You will help assess customer and partner needs, qualify prospects, focus on pipeline development, and assist in sales operations.

Responsibilities & Desired Skills

  • Work in a close-knit team environment to develop and accomplish a lead generation plan that meets or exceeds quota targets
  • Prospecting for new clients via a multichannel approach at high volume with an eye toward exceeding expectations
  • Take ownership and manage your sales pipeline, develop, and qualify new opportunities within target markets
  • Respond and follow up on inbound leads from strategic outbound marketing campaigns
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through email and via telephone. Let's be real, you will communicate via phone and email daily and your comfortability on the phone is a key to your success
  • Convert conversations to qualified meetings for PCI asking great questions and building value along the way
  • Establish a thorough understanding of our partnership with Deltek
  • Capture accurate and complete information in our CRM system
  • Exceed weekly/monthly goals for meetings, pipeline, and activity
  • Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to prioritize efforts, refine selling strategies, share results, and plan next step
  • Willingness to travel for corporate events and trade shows

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-5 years of experience in a sales role
  • Strong interpersonal, telephone (comfortable making phone calls) and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Government contracting knowledge (Federal, State, Local & Education) is advantageous but not required
