About

This individual will be responsible for maintaining and developing new business through prospecting, cold calling and executing events focused on corporate partnerships. He/she will establish and maintain client relationships and coordinate/execute all phases of the partnership life cycle. The Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships and Promotions will make sales and foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer retention.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for proactively pursuing and renewing sponsorship sales with corporate partners
  • Renew existing sponsorship accounts
  • Create and sell sponsorship packages to new prospects
  • Develop potential leads
  • Cold call local businesses and organizations
  • Handle incoming sponsorship calls
  • Set appointments with decision‑makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales contacts and appointments
  • Participate in various sales, team and community events as assigned
  • Represent the organization at various networking events
  • Manage multiple promotions/fan experience assets each game day
  • Public speaking, including the ability to act as the stadium on‑field emcee
  • Provide continuous communication with clients and customers to develop and maintain strong business relationships
  • Ability to provide superior customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
  • Ability to attend all home games and work non‑standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Stay current with changing technology, including software programs
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
  • Graphic design experience preferred, experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Any other duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned by GM or Assistant GM

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college/technical school experience required
  • At least one year of working for a professional sports team or equivalent organization
  • At least two years’ experience in sales; experience with a professional sports team or equivalent organization preferred
  • Ability to attend all home games

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid driver’s license required
