The Account Executive for Endoscopic Sales is a pivotal role focused on driving sales revenue through direct engagement with potential customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales revenue and grow market share within your assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, employing innovative strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans tailored to ensure a 10% annual increase in market share.
- Lead clinical demonstrations for target accounts, facilitating successful engagements to close sales.
- Collaborate with Clinical Sales Specialists to prepare for clinical demonstrations, ensuring readiness.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer accounts through regular interactions, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, technicians, and hospital administrators.
- Provide ongoing training to customers on the effective use of equipment in clinical settings.
- Serve as a resource for educational materials and information in the field.
- Stay informed about reprocessing techniques as required by AER manufacturers.
- Support VIP clients as directed by management.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to evaluate new products and improvements.
- Submit timely reports and forecasts to your supervisor.
- Keep accurate customer data for future database integration.
- Represent the company at trade shows and events as requested.
- Abide by safety policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
- Comply with U.S. FDA medical device regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and other relevant laws and guidelines.
- Meet vendor credentialing requirements to access hospitals and other facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field with 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Able to work independently and confidently manage situations.
- Thrives in competitive and fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for building customer relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and budgeting skills.
- Versatile in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Competent in writing reports and conveying information accurately.
- Capable of prioritizing customer needs effectively.
- Comfortable speaking to groups and presenting technical information clearly.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to discounts.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated 75-100% of the time.
- Proficient use of hands for tasks like typing and handling equipment.
- Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of work time.
- Capacity to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25-50 pounds occasionally.
- Requires close vision for detailed work.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel for up to 50% of assignments.
