Account Executive

Job Summary

The Account Executive is a seasoned enterprise software sales professional focused on delivering a robust suite of software solutions to Government and Public Sector clients. This role requires an understanding of executive-level sales within large organizations, exceptional communication skills, and established relationships. The successful candidate will proactively prospect and engage customers regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a portfolio of software solutions aimed at optimizing and modernizing enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Field Marketing teams to identify prospects and organize events.
• Assist in sales campaigns by engaging with Rocket's sales engineers, marketing, and lab teams.
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and build strong reference relationships.
• Achieve revenue goals and strategic objectives, focusing on expanding the sales pipeline and developing territory plans.
• Utilize Salesforce to maintain and forecast sales weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Partner with management to negotiate pricing and contract terms effectively.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders, shaping opportunities early in the sales cycle and driving profitable growth.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of aligning the company's capabilities with customer needs and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling software solutions to Government or Public Sector clients.
• Demonstrated adaptability, with a commitment to integrity and ethical practices.
• Experience in a high-achiever sales culture.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and innovation.
• Ability to articulate a strategic vision, influence stakeholders, and manage resources effectively.
• Aspiration to exceed expectations and collaborate well with Sales Management.
• Strong business acumen and experience handling mid-sized clients with a diverse product portfolio.
• Possession of Federal clearance is considered a plus.

Salary Range

Annual salary range for this role is $77,000.00 - $103,950.00 before taxes and eligible for commissions per company policy.
