Job Summary

As an Inside Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales by conducting outreach to potential clients and developing relationships with existing accounts. Your essential duties will include assisting customers with IT solutions, managing the sales process from quotes to order placement, and coordinating with internal teams to provide high-quality solutions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are pivotal to achieving your goals and delivering an exceptional experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outreach (cold calling and prospecting) to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships through effective communication across your assigned accounts.
  • Assist clients in selecting and managing various IT solutions to optimize their environments.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide tailored recommendations to meet their objectives.
  • Generate quotes and finalize orders based on client requests.
  • Expand business with existing clients by managing sales projects throughout the cycle.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with customers and SHI internal teams to strategize on their needs.
  • Understand and manage the IT requirements of mid to large-sized businesses, ensuring a top‑notch customer experience.

  • At least 1 year of relevant sales experience, such as in Business Development, Inside Sales, Account Management, or similar roles.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $36,000 – $50,000. The estimated on‑target earnings (OTE), which includes base salary and potential bonus/commissions, are $40,000 – $80,000. Compensation varies based on experience, skills, and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
