About the role
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage and develop relationships with existing retail and wholesale jewelry accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Ensure timely communication regarding orders, inventory availability, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction and retention.
Sales Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within jewelry retailers, department stores, and e-commerce partners.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Present new collections and product launches to clients.
- Develop strategic sales plans to grow revenue within assigned territories.
Product & Market Expertise
- Maintain deep knowledge of jewelry collections, materials, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide clients with product recommendations and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
Order & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate closely with operations, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order processing and fulfillment.
- Track orders, shipments, and client requests to ensure smooth delivery.
- Assist with forecasting and inventory planning based on account demand.
Trade Shows & Client Engagement
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Conduct product presentations and showroom appointments.
- Travel as needed to meet clients and develop business relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in jewelry sales, luxury goods, or fashion accessories.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with retail jewelry chains, department stores, or e-commerce brands.
- Knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and jewelry manufacturing processes.
- Experience in gift-with-purchase (GWP) or promotional jewelry programs is a plus.
