Your Impact:

  • Lead the charge in selling innovative cloud security technologies, specifically focusing on Cisco's new User Protection Suite.
  • Develop and nurture channel relationships alongside direct engagement with target accounts to drive revenue.
  • Manage a designated quota and territory aligned with Cisco’s generalist territories.
  • Collaborate with Cisco counterparts, including Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Regional Managers, to strengthen relationships.
  • Proactively engage prospects through various lead generation methods, including self-initiated opportunities.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts to initiate the sales process.
  • Conduct compelling live web-based demonstrations and in-person presentations of cloud services.
  • Create a strong sales pipeline through independent prospecting and collaborative sales development.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for meetings and support marketing endeavors like trade shows and events.
  • Effectively address and overcome objections from prospective customers.
  • Highlight product features and benefits, provide pricing quotes, discuss terms, and prepare necessary sales order documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training to refine skills and approach.
  • Accurately document and track all prospects and customer interactions in Salesforce.com.
  • Deliver consistent and precise weekly sales forecasts to management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of software sales experience, with a preference for SaaS.
  • Proven ability to manage numerous opportunities and utilize solution-selling techniques to consistently meet or exceed quotas.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Skilled in conducting virtual presentations and managing remote sales processes.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Team-oriented outlook with a strong results-driven mentality and a relentless work ethic to achieve success.
  • Experience in direct sales along with the capability to work effectively with motivated channel partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling complex software-based solutions, applying solution-selling methodologies to drive revenue growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of consistently over-achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a technical audience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Security Market and Channel dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a dynamic workplace.
  • Goal-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership over tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
