Account Executive – Retail Europe
A fast-growing premium haircare brand is looking for a commercially sharp Account Executive to own and grow a key French retail partnership, while supporting field execution and account development across a leading European selective retail network.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management – Key French Retail Partner • Act as the primary operational and executional point of contact for the account. • Ensure seamless coordination between HQ and stores regarding assortment, merchandising, and activations. • Monitor account performance and identify specific opportunities to grow the business.
Market Strategy & European Support • Support the management of key markets within a leading European selective retail network, including France, Iberia, Italy, UK, and Poland. • Identify top-performing strategic doors and build tailored action plans to maximize visibility and sell-out. • Conduct regular field visits across European markets on a 30/60/90 day basis. • Ensure alignment with brand standards and consistency in execution across all assigned European markets.
Training, Education & Field Relationship – Key French Retail Partner • Build strong day-to-day relationships with store managers, local stakeholders, and field teams. • Collaborate with the corporate education department to deliver impactful training programs, webinars, and regional events. • Elevate product expertise and selling techniques to drive conversion and average basket size. • Develop brand advocacy by engaging retail teams and assessing the ROI of training initiatives.
In-Store Execution & Business Insights • Ensure flawless implementation of brand guidelines and visual merchandising standards at every point of sale. • Monitor stock levels, testers, and overall brand visibility through frequent store audits. • Provide regular, actionable field reports to the Senior Account Executive and Sales Director, translating insights into strategic growth recommendations.
Requirements
• MUST: 5–10 years of experience in retail, field sales, or area management within the cosmetics or luxury industry. • MUST: Proven track record in driving sell-out and account performance. • MUST: Fluent in French and English; additional European languages (especially Italian) are a significant plus. • MUST: Strong expertise in selective distribution and retailer dynamics (experience with major European selective retailers is a plus). • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to turn field data and KPIs (conversion, productivity) into actionable business insights. • Strategic Execution: A results-driven mindset combined with the ability to perform hands-on execution in a field environment. • Autonomy: Highly organized and adaptable with strong prioritization and time management skills. • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across Europe to support business development.
