Job Overview
The Account Executive, SMB Sales role at T-Mobile is perfect for ambitious sales professionals eager to foster exceptional customer relationships and promote T-Mobile's outstanding products and services to underserved markets.
This position is a true hunter role, empowering you to exceed sales quotas, acquire new accounts, and disrupt the wireless industry for small and medium-sized businesses (10-299 employees). In this role, you’ll surpass monthly sales targets by leveraging prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and lead generation within a designated geographic area. You will assess customer needs and implement solution-based selling to highlight T-Mobile's value, customizing recommendations and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive lead generation through prospecting, cold calling, and networking with guidance from your sales manager.
- Assess customer needs and employ solution-based selling to showcase T-Mobile's offerings.
- Recommend tailored wireless solutions such as price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
- Skillfully negotiate and close sales deals.
- Enhance skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
- Engage in product training and attend sales meetings.
- Craft effective sales strategies, solutions, and proposals.
- Utilize sales force automation tools to manage your pipeline, report on activities, and forecast sales.
- Cultivate and expand your customer base within your specified territory.
Education and Work Experience
- High School Diploma/GED (Required).
- 1+ years of proven new customer acquisition sales experience, ideally within a commissioned environment (Preferred).
- Experience in outside B2B sales is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands multitasking (Required).
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service with great attention to detail (Required).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (Required).
- Effective negotiation and closing abilities that include communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills (Required).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation
- Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,700 - $129,500, including target incentives.
- Base Pay Range: $43,020 - $77,700. Actual pay will depend on several factors, including work location, qualifications, and experience.
- At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles can earn monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
