This remote role involves approximately 50% of time spent in the field, engaging directly with brokers, agents, and clients. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial consultative selling role, focusing on acquiring new customers to achieve revenue targets. Your responsibilities will include managing sales opportunities from prospecting to closing, ensuring high-quality insights, creative problem-solving, and collaboration across various functions.
You will maintain strategic oversight of your prospect pipeline while managing active quotes. With strong interpersonal skills, you will build trusted relationships with prospects and brokers to identify new sales opportunities that align with the needs of clients and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively close sales deals while maximizing financial gains for the company.
- Proactively manage prospects to develop tailored solutions that meet both client and business needs.
- Create and recommend sales strategies and pricing based on financial analysis to establish win-win scenarios.
- Utilize analytical skills and leverage market knowledge in collaboration with cross-functional peers.
- Deliver impactful pitches and presentations (both in-person and virtual) that clearly communicate the value of our products.
- Serve as the main point of contact between brokers and internal teams to facilitate exceptional buying experiences.
- Develop strong partnerships with external stakeholders through effective communication.
- Lead RFP responses, ensuring adherence to timelines and processes to construct compelling bids.
- Provide competitive intelligence insights to inform product development and market strategies.
- Manage your pipeline with a focus on a 2+ year outlook, leveraging sales tools like Salesforce and others while maintaining accurate data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including evenings, weekends, and overnight trips using a personal vehicle.
- Strong business math and analytical skills to effectively position products and pricing to meet revenue goals.
- Exceptional consultative selling and negotiation abilities to influence decision-makers.
- Experience managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for formal business presentations.
- Collaborative communication with all levels within the organization.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with cross-functional collaboration to achieve results.
- Outstanding time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM software (Salesforce).
Licenses Required
- Health license required within 90 days.
- Valid driver's license required upon hire.
Compensation and Benefits
