About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Account Executive based in South Africa to join our global sales team. This role is ideal for a 'builder' and 'hunter' mindset who wants to redefine what’s possible in the African travel tech space. You will be instrumental in expanding our footprint in South Africa and contributing directly to our mission.

How We Work

At WeTravel, our Sales team combines autonomy with strong collaboration. As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and discovery calls to product demos, closing deals, and smoothly handing off to onboarding. We focus on understanding each client's unique needs and aligning our solutions to match. You’ll spend most of your time doing what actually moves the needle: prospecting, demoing, and following up with qualified leads.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and reaching out to potential clients in the travel industry.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and highlighting the value of WeTravel's platform.
  • Managing the sales pipeline and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborating with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
  • Providing feedback to the product team based on client interactions and needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or the travel industry.
  • Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting product demos.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle and achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Must have the full legal right to work in South Africa (citizenship or residency).

Benefits

  • Attractive compensation - uncapped commission.
    • Base Fulltime Salary: $22,000 (USD)
    • On Target Earnings (OTE): Year 1 = $38,000 (USD), Year 2 = $50,000 (USD)
  • Fulltime - Fixed Term Contract (as International Contractor).
