Our client is a leading investment platform connecting global investors with Africa’s energy sector. Through high-level events, digital content, and investment reports, they bring together governments, investors, and companies across the entire energy value chain—from oil and gas to renewable energy.
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive – Corporate & Launch Events to help expand our newest pan-Africa focused events taking place in Europe, the US, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys building international networks.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business opportunities and manage corporate client relationships across Europe the US, & Africa.
- Promote participation in company's global energy events and investment platforms.
- Engage senior industry professionals through outbound calls, meetings, and networking.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of outreach activity.
- Represent company at industry events and client meetings across the region.
- Track sales activity and manage accounts using CRM tools.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of corporate sales experience (B2B or event sales preferred).
- Strong interest in global business, energy markets, and investment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as Portuguese, French, Spanish, or Arabic are a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools.
Location & Travel
This role requires approximately 40-50% travel, and can be based in Europe, the US, the Middle East or Africa.
