About the role

About

Isaac Morris Ltd. (IML) is one of the world’s leading licensed apparel manufacturers and a nominated supplier to Walmart across multiple categories. Our teams design, manufacture, and distribute apparel featuring some of the most recognizable brands and licenses in the world.

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our Walmart Team, to help scale the next phase of growth. This is not a traditional account management role. The right candidate will own a category, develop the merchandising strategy, and drive meaningful revenue growth with Walmart.

What You’ll Own

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portion of our Walmart business, including direct ownership of revenue performance within your category and buyer relationships.

This role blends sales, merchandising, analytics, and product creation.

Key areas of ownership include:

Merchandising Strategy

  • Identify white space within Walmart assortments and develop product strategies that capture it
  • Curate compelling assortments across styles, fabrics, colors, brands, and licenses
  • Develop product concepts that create must-have opportunities for the buyer

Product Creation

  • Work closely with our best-in-class design and art teams to bring product concepts to life
  • Partner with product development and sourcing teams to build the right fabrics, constructions, and manufacturing strategies
  • Guide products from concept through sampling and production

Business Ownership

  • Manage a category and subset of Walmart buyers with revenue and P&L accountability
  • Present and sell new programs to buyers
  • Build long-term relationships that expand the business

Data-Driven Growth

  • Analyze performance using Walmart reporting tools and internal analytics
  • Partner with planning teams to identify key drivers of growth and margin
  • Use data to refine assortment strategies and scale successful programs

The Team

This role reports directly to the SVP of Walmart and is supported by:

  • A dedicated Account Manager
  • A best-in-class design and creative team
  • Product development and sourcing specialists
  • Planning and analytics teams
  • Operations and logistics teams

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a merchant‑minded sales leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

You likely bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, merchandising, or account management
  • Strong instinct for product and assortment strategy
  • The ability to identify and develop winning product opportunities
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally across design, sourcing, and operations
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategy

Helpful experience includes:

  • Apparel or consumer products background
  • Experience working with Walmart tools such as Retail Link, Scintilla, or Supplier One

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants ownership and knows how to grow a business.
