About the role
Are you energized by construction environments and passionate about turning technology into real-world solutions?
We’re looking for a motivated account manager to support and grow our presence in heavy and building construction across the GTA. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, strong onboarding, and continuous learning—without the monotony of a traditional office job.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project teams
- Present cutting-edge construction technology solutions
- Manage your own territory and build lasting client relationships
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
- Seek out, identify, and target potential customers
- Visit existing and prospective clients; analyze their needs; promote company products and services; and recommend appropriate solutions
- Serve and advise key customers
- Create and track all sales opportunities in the CRM
- Deliver technical demonstrations of instruments
- Prepare and send quotes to customers
- Provide after-sales service and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Respond effectively to client requests and complete required administrative follow-ups
- Develop and promote ABTECH’s specific product lines
- Provide technical support (by phone and in the field)
- Actively participate in business development and client retention activities (trade shows, networking events, etc.)
- Participate in development and technical projects endorsed by management

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in technical sales representation and business development
- Solid knowledge of heavy construction and building construction
- Experience with GPS/GNSS, Total Stations, and/or Machine Control technologies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and interest in learning and promoting technology-based solutions
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Autonomy, creativity, availability, and leadership
- Unrestricted valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the territory with variable schedules
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
