We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Account Manager / Hunter Sales professional to join our Sales & Business Development team. Based in Johannesburg with national travel, this frontline sales role is focused on aggressively driving new business acquisition, expanding market presence, and delivering revenue growth across ICT, Managed Services, and Enterprise Technology Solutions. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded hunter who thrives in competitive environments, excels at opening new accounts, and is passionate about building long-term client relationships and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with 3x coverage of target.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Develop and deliver client presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Participate in RFP/RFQ and tender processes, including pricing negotiations.
  • Identify and secure new logo opportunities across corporate and public sector markets.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth and retention.
  • Accurately maintain CRM records, sales activity, and forecasting reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Desired Experience

  • 5–8 years’ proven B2B hunter sales experience within ICT, Managed Services, Telecommunications, or Enterprise Technology environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding new business sales targets and acquiring new logos.
  • Strong experience in solution selling across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise software, managed IT services, and telecommunications.
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Experience engaging with corporate and public sector clients.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and maintaining strong sales administration discipline.
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and highly target oriented.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally as required.
