About Tradecloud

Tradecloud is a scale-up from Delft that works for leading companies such as Quooker, HBM Machines, Gazelle, Alfen NV, and Damen Shipyards. We help our clients realize a fast, flexible, and sustainable supply chain. We do this with a cloud platform that allows buyers and suppliers to exchange information about orders and deliveries and have real-time insight into exceptions.

The result: less manual work and more time for the real supply chain challenges!

We started Tradecloud eight years ago with the mission to substantially improve communication between companies, thus ensuring more speed and less waste. We saw that most companies know what they are doing internally, but have no external insight into what is happening with customers or suppliers. Communication with customers or suppliers still involves a lot of manual work and causes waste of time and raw materials.

Meanwhile, we have grown into a mature cloud platform for industry and wholesale and help many companies automate manual work and gain more insight into disruptions.

We believe that digital collaboration can help companies produce sustainably with less waste, more speed, and higher margins.

Your Challenge

We are growing rapidly and to take the next step, we are looking for a sales person who will find new customers within industry and wholesale. If successful, you will also work more broadly and can grow into a sales manager.

Our ideal profile is someone who has 2-3 years of experience with B2B software in an inside sales, consultancy, or support role and is now ready to take on more responsibility.

Expectations and Tasks

  • Based on the leads found by Inside Sales, you will speak with companies about their supply chain challenges and how the Tradecloud platform can help solve them;
  • You do this from a substantive approach to understand problems and truly help these companies (build relationships and solution selling);
  • Your focus is on analyzing challenges related to supply chain and purchasing, giving demos, and working out the business case.
  • You will initially conduct 2nd and 3rd conversations together with the sales director, and you can do them yourself over time;
  • You are good at giving demos and listening to customers;
  • You are good at making contact via email, social media, and phone;
  • You keep track of appointments and follow-ups in the CRM system (Hubspot);
  • You can quickly switch between different tasks and collaborate well with other departments;
  • You stay informed about developments in IT, industry, logistics, and our product;
  • You seek and communicate improvements, thus making Tradecloud a little better every day;

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's work and thinking level in a technical, commercial, or business administration direction
  • At least 2 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of business processes and logistics or ERP software;
  • You preferably live in the vicinity of Delft or the central Netherlands;
  • You are not afraid of targets and use feedback for your development;
  • You speak and write Dutch and English well;
