Position Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive in Canada to accelerate the revenue growth and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Life Sciences or Consumer Products industries, including an understanding of the Regulatory landscape. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, marketing and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of the BD strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets across key markets
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and product demos tailored to client requirement and pain points
- Market Research & Lead Generation
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends and potential clients within target industries
- Partner closely with the marketing team to manage and nurture leads generated through them
- Sales Pipeline Management
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools ensuring timely follow up, nurturing and conversion of leads
- Contract Negotiations
- Lead contract negotiations with potential clients, ensuring terms are favorable for all stakeholders resulting in closing deals
- Work closely with marketing, product, customer success and regulatory content team to ensure alignment between client needs and RegASK’s solutions
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline status and business development activities providing regular updates to senior management, using CRM tools
Requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent degree required
- At least 5 years of business development or sales experience in the Consumer Health or Life Sciences industries with specific experience in selling SaaS
- Experience selling to senior decision makers in enterprises
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Data‑driven approach to decision making and strategy development
- Experience with building relationships with stakeholders at different levels
- Proficient in Salesforce etc.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with marketing, product and customer success team on a multi‑cultural global basis
