We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Account / Operations Executive
Job Location: Ilupeju, Lagos Employment Type: Contract (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (Maternity Cover)
Role Overview
• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with administrative and operational experience to join our team for a 6-month maternity cover.
• The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between office management and financial reporting, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities Financial Support & Accounting:
• Manage petty cash disbursements and maintain accurate digital logs.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and basic financial statements.
• Assist with monthly payroll processing and statutory remittance (PAYE, Pension, etc.).
• Perform bank reconciliations and track accounts payable/receivable.
Office Administration:
• Oversee daily office operations, including facility maintenance and vendor management.
• Procure office supplies and manage inventory to prevent stockouts.
• Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics if required.
• Maintain a robust physical and digital filing system.
Operational Coordination:
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure service standards are met.
• Support the implementation of internal operational policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal inquiries and visitor management.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Education: BSc / HND qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in an Administrative or Operations role with direct exposure to bookkeeping / Accounting.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly preferred.
Salary N200,000 - N250,000 Net Monthly.
