About the role

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Operations Specialist with strong Excel and financial analysis capabilities, who can manage operational workflows while supporting account performance and commercial tracking.

This role blends operations execution + financial tracking + account coordination, making it ideal for candidates with experience in staffing, finance operations, MIS reporting, or account management support.

Key Responsibilities

1) Financial & Commercial Analysis (Core Focus)

  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial trackers for revenue, billing, margins, and resource utilization
  • Analyze SOW financials, including billing rates, cost vs revenue, and margin tracking
  • Track invoicing triggers, PO status, and revenue realization
  • Generate weekly/monthly financial reports (MIS) for account performance
  • Identify risks such as revenue leakage, delays in billing, or renewal gaps

2) Advanced Excel & Reporting (Critical Skill)

  • Create and manage complex Excel dashboards using:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Conditional formatting
    • Data validation
  • Maintain accurate, real-time trackers for:
    • Staffing pipeline
    • Renewals and contract timelines
    • Financial performance
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting automation wherever possible

3) Account Operations & Management Support

  • Support Account Managers with data-driven insights and reporting
  • Track account health metrics (open roles, closures, revenue, renewals)
  • Prepare client-ready reports and summaries
  • Manage action trackers and ensure closure of key deliverables
  • Act as a single point of coordination across recruiters, finance, and account teams

4) Staffing & SOW Coordination

  • Track SOW lifecycle: creation, renewals, extensions, and closures
  • Maintain contract and resource data: start/end dates, rates, role mapping
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, onboarding, and documentation tracking
  • Ensure timely follow-ups with zero delays across stakeholders

Must-Have Skills (Strict Screening Criteria)

  • Advanced Excel Expertise (Mandatory)
  • Strong hands-on with formulas, dashboards, and reporting
  • Financial Analysis Skills
  • Revenue tracking, margin analysis, billing understanding
  • Account Management / Coordination Experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, night shift environment

Preferred Skills (High Value in Indian Market)

  • Experience in staffing / consulting / IT services companies
  • Exposure to MIS reporting or finance operations
  • Knowledge of SOWs, billing cycles, and revenue tracking
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot)
