About the Team
Our Aerospace & Defense and Government System Integrator (GovSI) practice champions enterprise cloud innovations tailored to mission-critical national security initiatives. We partner with industry giants like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and others to deliver compliance-ready solutions that enhance operational efficiency and accountability in A&D sectors, leveraging AI capabilities that yield substantial program benefits.
The Role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who speaks the dual language of enterprise-level projects and modern cloud architecture. In this position, you will act as a trusted advisor to A&D primes and large Federal System Integrators, identifying needs, architecting compliant solutions, and developing proof-of-concept environments that convert interest into commitment. A deep understanding of agentic AI is essential as you will design innovative solutions for A&D use cases.
What You'll Do
- Engage with A&D primes and Federal SIs to grasp program objectives, mission requirements, and technical limitations, including IT/OT convergence.
- Translate customer challenges into actionable solutions on the Salesforce platform: including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, and GovCloud.
- Craft and deliver engaging demos and proof-of-concept solutions tailored for A&D/SI scenarios such as program management and supply chain visibility.
- Design and validate agent-based solutions focused on workflows, data governance, and program readiness in complex environments.
- Communicate Salesforce's security and compliance rigor effectively to technical teams and security officers.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses by preparing technical documentation and demonstration scenarios.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Capture Managers in a cooperative sales environment to drive pipeline growth.
- Create reusable POC assets and best-practice materials that align with A&D and Federal delivery methodologies.
- Provide structured feedback from customers to influence product development and marketing strategies.
What You Bring
Required
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer in CRM, enterprise SaaS, or related fields, ideally within the A&D or Federal sector.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce tools, capable of developing agentic workflows and integration frameworks.
- Practical AI competency with understanding of LLMs, grounding techniques, and design considerations for A&D environments.
- Strong discovery abilities to define agentic use cases and develop actionable architecture plans.
- Familiarity with key federal compliance standards such as CMMC.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact with both executive leaders and technical teams proficiently.
- Proficient in navigating a fast-paced, collaborative sales landscape while managing complex project pursuits.
- U.S. citizenship is required; the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically to customer locations, military bases, and industry functions.
Preferred
- Salesforce certifications in relevant areas.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, or similar full-stack development capabilities.
- Familiarity with agentic engineering tools.
- Understanding of environments like GovCloud or AWS GovCloud.
- Experience with operational technology and IT integration in defense and aerospace settings.
- Background in supporting CMMC compliance assessments or audits for prime or subcontractor clients.
Education
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or significant equivalent work experience.
