The Role
Join Salesforce’s dynamic Federal Public Sector Solution Engineering team, where your technical expertise can lead to impactful changes in how government agencies serve their constituents. This isn't just about selling; it's about partnering with federal clients to transform missions through our cutting-edge Agentic Government Cloud solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth technical and business discovery sessions with federal stakeholders to identify mission gaps and design actionable agent-based solutions.
- Create compelling demonstrations and proofs-of-concept that showcase how our Agentforce platform can streamline workflows and enhance citizen services.
- Deliver exceptional product demonstrations that narrate a clear story of how Salesforce addresses specific agency missions and functional requirements.
- Design and implement comprehensive technical architectures that integrate Salesforce's solutions with necessary security measures.
- Facilitate hands-on technical workshops and 'Deep Dives' for IT teams and Enterprise Architects.
- Communicate complex technical solutions to executive leadership, aligning technology with mission outcomes in an easily understandable manner.
- Serve as the technical lead for responding to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring all submissions are accurate and meet security compliance.
- Collaborate with clients on defining agents, configuration, and deployment strategies to expedite readiness.
- Identify and propose automation opportunities to streamline processes and enhance activation.
- Develop reusable resources, such as demo environments and best practices, to empower others in delivery.
- Gather customer insights to inform product development and enhance marketing strategies.
- Utilize modern development tools and AI technology to efficiently build and adjust platform configurations.
Required Qualifications
- More than 7 years of customer-facing solution or technical architecture experience, with escalated responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Core and the Data 360/Agentforce technology stack.
- Proficient knowledge of agentic systems, including LLMs and governance aspects.
- Experience with agentic engineering tools such as Cursor and Agentforce Vibes.
- Adept at conducting technical and business assessments to define actionable use cases.
- Effective communication skills for engaging both technical teams and C-suite executives.
- Solid command of multi-tier architectures and high-scale web technologies.
- A growth mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge in Salesforce engineering, including Apex and Lightning Web Components.
- Proficiency in SQL or Python and familiarity with cloud data platforms.
- Experience with other AI platforms and broader implementation projects.
- Understanding of consumption models to estimate usage costs accurately.
- Knowledge of modern application development practices and API integration.
- Familiarity with the Federal Civilian market and procurement processes.

The compenation range for this position is between $113,330 - $210,910 annually, with variations based on location, skills, and experience. Certain locations may have a salary range of $124,670 - $231,980. Your recruiter will provide specific information during the hiring process. This range reflects base salary only, excluding bonuses, incentives, equity, or additional benefits.
