We’re a well established concrete construction company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant & Office Manager to manage accounting operations with a strong focus on accounts receivable, payroll, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll, payroll taxes and reports
- Manage accounts receivable, including progress billing, payment applications, and collections
- Track job costs and assist with project‑related financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support month‑end close
- Maintain accurate, confidential financial and payroll records
- Oversee daily office operations, vendors, and administrative needs
- Support onboarding/offboarding and work closely with the Company Controller
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction
- Hands‑on experience with payroll and accounts receivable
- Understanding of job costing, progress billing, and retainage
- Proficient with accounting/payroll software and Excel
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
