Responsibilities : Accounting, Payroll and Statutory Analyze expense accounts and enters manual entries during month close e.g. overtime and vacation accruals, reclass costs vs. periodic accruals. Prepares account reconciliations, including bank entries. Controls and justifies the non-invoiced accounts, investigates and corrects causes of anomalies. Cost control and budgeting Closely monitors plant department expenses, conduct weekly meetings with stakeholders. Analyses monthly results and variances vs. budget, proposes corrective actions. Draws up the annual budget and intermediate forecast Compliance (over 5 entities) Ensures compliance with accounting rules and standards for French statutory accounting. You need : Bachelor’s degree in finance Control or Accounting French Fluency (C1) English Fluency (B2) Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Cost Control Demonstrated knowledge of French accounting rules and French fiscal regulations Demonstrated knowledge of SAP FI-CO We value : Master’s degree in finance or accounting or Audit Ability to interact with people from shopfloor up to VPs Ability to deal with uncertainty and sometimes tight deadlines Shows curiosity, is able to challenge the status quo and propose new ways of working Practical knowledge of CIR, ‘Crédit d’impôt recherche’ (French tax credit for R&D activities Working knowledge of US GAAP
