Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, and help to support accurate general ledger entries and compliance with company records. • Manage the accounting for loans, including recording loan origination, interest, payments, and principal balances. • Ensure all loan transactions are accurately captured and reconciled. • Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Monitor financial transactions and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, providing insights into financial trends and variances. • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparations and filing. Requirement: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Must have completed NYSC. • Proficient with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
