Insight Global is hiring an Accountant to support a leading commercial generator company specializing in sales, installation, service, and maintenance. Based out of the Plainview, NY headquarters, this role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations across AR, AP, billing, collections, and general ledger functions. The position is hands‑on and end‑to‑end, ideal for someone comfortable owning the full accounting cycle and working independently in a fast‑paced services environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including AR, AP, billing, and collections
• Background working for a services provider (generator, power, HVAC, plumbing, or similar)
• Strong experience using QuickBooks; primary system for daily accounting work
• Experience handling general ledger activities and invoicing workflows
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage multiple priorities
