About the role
About
We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant with experience in property management and construction accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be highly proficient in QuickBooks and AppFolio, and possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable, including creation of estimates and invoices
- Manage TSheets within QuickBooks for billing and payroll support
- Oversee company credit card accounts and reconcile receipts
- Reconcile and prepare reports for intercompany receivables
- Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks and produce monthly financial statements
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Qualifications & Skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office required
- Experience in the construction industry or trades is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience (5+ years in a similar role)
