To strengthen our Finance team in Baar (ZG) as part of succession planning, we are looking for a dedicated individual as an Accountant.
Role Objective
In this role, you will independently take on central tasks in financial accounting and work closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Management. You will be responsible for defined sub-areas and develop progressively.
Your Tasks
- You independently manage accounts payable and receivable for defined areas.
- You post business transactions in the general ledger and ensure correct account assignment.
- You prepare and partially execute payment transactions independently.
- You actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and take over initial closing areas.
- You prepare deferrals, provisions, and perform reconciliations.
- You support the preparation of VAT returns and tax declarations.
- You perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies independently.
- You participate in budget and forecast processes.
- You support internal controls (IKS) and audit preparations and act as a contact person for defined areas.
- You work with internal and external interfaces (e.g., HR, Controlling, Auditors).
IT & Processes
- You work reliably in the ERP system (e.g., SAP) and take responsibility for data quality in your area.
- You use MS Excel for evaluations, reconciliations, and simple analyses.
- You actively contribute to the optimization of processes and workflows.
- You support automation and digitalization projects in the Finance area.
Your Profile
- You have a degree as a specialist in finance and accounting (e.g., professional qualification or equivalent).
- You have approx. 2-4 years of professional experience in financial accounting.
- You have sound knowledge of accounting, ideally according to IFRS.
- You have experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and good Excel skills.
- You speak German very well; have good English skills and French skills are an advantage.
- You work independently, structured, and reliably.
- You are resilient, take responsibility, and think proactively.
- You have an interest in process optimization and digitalization.
