About
As an Accountant in Global Accounting Operations at Connor Clark & Lunn India Private Limited in Gurugram, you will play a critical role in supporting the onshore accounting teams in Vancouver and Toronto. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, transaction processing, reconciliations, and tax returns for both Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Analytical mindset for problem-solving
- Curiosity and willingness to undertake challenging tasks
- Effective communication and collaborative spirit
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in flexible shifts
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
Responsibilities
- Process transactions in the ERP system
- Forecast monthly/quarterly financials
- Analyze budget vs actual expenditure with variance analysis
- Prepare income tax and GST returns for Canadian affiliates
- Reconcile inter-company transactions, bank ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Prepare financial statements and working papers
- Collaborate with various business groups, addressing accounting queries
- Support the migration to a new ERP system
