Responsibilities

• Independent review, classification, and booking of incoming invoices
• Monitoring of payment deadlines and ensuring tax compliance
• Processing and review of travel expense reports
• Creation of outgoing invoices and monitoring of open items
• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Close cooperation with controlling, tax advisors, and auditors
• Further development and optimization of accounting processes (e.g., with ERP systems)
• Ensuring compliance with commercial and tax regulations

Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a certified accountant (IHK) or a degree with a focus on accounting
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in medium-sized companies
• Sound HGB knowledge and closing expertise
• Experience with common ERP systems (e.g., DATEV, Business Central, or similar)
• Analytical thinking skills and affinity for numbers
• Structured, independent, and precise way of working
• Teamwork skills and high discretion in handling sensitive data
