About the Role
For our Finance department, we are looking for a reliable and team-oriented employee to perform ongoing accounting tasks, specifically to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on time according to the specifications of the publicly traded Magna Group. Therefore, we need your support in a diverse range of accounting tasks with a focus on general ledger and fixed asset accounting. We offer you the opportunity to get to know and deepen many important topics at the latest standard of practice.
Your Tasks
- Performing ongoing accounting, including control
- Booking and preparing documents for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Regular account reconciliation for SOX and Audit
- Support with audits / financial audits / tax audits
- Performing/entering monthly VAT pre-registration and EC sales list in Finanz-Online
- Weekly payment transactions with preparation and reconciliation, as well as execution of payments to corporations
- Complete fixed asset accounting: additions and disposals, monthly depreciation, processing of results from the annual fixed asset inventory
- Representing colleagues regarding bank postings, master data maintenance, debtors and creditors, treasury, interfaces to payroll, insurance, CAPEX including MCS
What We're Looking For
For our open position in accounting, we are looking for a flexible and communicative person who enjoys working in a team.
Your Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial apprenticeship (HBLA, HAK, Business School..)
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
- Successfully completed accountant exam, balance accountant desirable
- IT skills (MS Office and ideally SAP)
- German and English, spoken and written

Compensation
It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive compensation package. The gross annual salary (for 38.5 hours) according to the collective agreement of the automotive industry is at least EUR 47,600,- for this position. An overpayment is common practice due to relevant experience and qualifications.
