Let's connect: Join our Group Finance and Accounting department, Digital Accounting, at our Hannover/Germany location as an Accountant / Administrator for Digitalization of Accounting Processes. This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Assist in accelerating the digitalization of claims processing, working closely with other accounting teams.
- Processing and auditing of reinsurance accounts and current account processing of payments.
- Supporting other accounting teams in the digitalization of their business.
- Correspondence and coordination with internal interfaces and external clients.
- Participation in internal working groups and projects focused on digitalization and automation.
- Optimization of existing business processes together with other colleagues from accounting.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in accounting (e.g., from the insurance, banking, or tax sectors) and in qualified bookkeeping.
- Completed degree in business administration or commercial training in insurance, banking, or tax.
- Good knowledge of reinsurance contract types and forms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- SAP knowledge.
- Python and/or UI Path knowledge are advantageous.
- Previous experience with different IT landscapes and an interest in engaging with them in more depth.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good understanding of numbers and analytical thinking.
- Independent and self-responsible working style.
- Confident and service-oriented demeanor towards internal and external clients.

Salary: EUR 36,000 - 60,000 per year
