Accounting Analyst (AP / AR) – Financial Services

We’re supporting a global, regulated financial services firm operating at the intersection of trading, financial infrastructure, and digital assets, with offices across Europe, the US, and APAC. Due to a period of increased operational demand, the business is looking to bring in a hands‑on Accountant to support day‑to‑day finance operations and ensure business‑as‑usual continuity.

The Role

This is a practical, execution‑focused contract role with a roughly 50/50 split between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, operating in a high‑volume environment (~650 invoices per month). You’ll be part of a collaborative finance team supporting multiple entities and working closely with stakeholders across accounting, treasury, and wider finance.

Key Responsibilities

• End‑to‑end Accounts Payable processing (invoice validation, coding, posting, payment runs)
• Accounts Receivable support including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and query resolution
• Accurate posting and reconciliation of transactions in NetSuite
• Support month‑end close activities (journals, reconciliations, cut‑off)
• Maintain strong controls in a regulated, fast‑paced environment
• Support audit and due‑diligence requests where required
• Partner effectively with non‑finance stakeholders across the business

Essential

• Proven hands‑on experience across AP and AR
• Background in financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated environments
• Comfortable working in high‑volume, transactional accounting roles
• Strong experience using NetSuite
• Fluent English
• Contractor mindset with the ability to hit the ground running

Nice to Have

• French language skills (particularly for Paris‑based candidates)
• Exposure to multi‑entity or international environments
• Experience supporting audits or due‑diligence processes
• Exposure to digital assets or trading environments (not required)

• Paris or London
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in office / 2 remote
