A Snapshot of your day
SE Real Estate is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to support the Europe Hub in commercial and financial management. You will be responsible for supporting with all commercial/financial Real Estate related tasks for the countries you are responsible for, enabling a complete and transparent analysis of SE Real Estate business as well as liaising with the local stakeholders. How you'll make a difference
- Ensures accurate books and records including the recording of in appropriate systems i.E., compliance with Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines (IFRS), set up of project activities in SAP including accurate budget and forecast on a timely basis
- Support with IFRS 16 and implementation/alignment of SE RE guidelines and principles; ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Validating and approving of invoices, preparation of accruals, support with POs
- Budgeting/Forecasting and actual reporting at country level
- Analyses and monitors targeted finance results (Gross Cost, Free Cashflow, Profit and capex) and creates regular reports to management
- Performs financial analysis regarding trends, assets, cash and liabilities
- Support in identification and implementation of savings measures and ensure accurate reporting and documentation
- Support in risk management
- Support in implementing process improvements, initiatives and new business tools
- Support ad-hoc tasks / requirements
- Maintains working relationships with external service providers/suppliers and Business Areas
What you bring
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance or similar
- Up to 3 years working in a similar controlling role. Previous experience working in a numerical or financial environment is required. The post holder should be accounting qualified, with previous SAP experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles and understanding of P&L and Balance sheet
- Basic understanding of tax incl. VAT
- The ability to communicate clearly with different levels of stakeholders across the business.
- Right attitude, ability to adapt and learn new skills
- Initiative, proactive and team play
- English speaking required
About the team
The Hub Europe FIN Team is currently made up of 12 members, covering 27 countries and 1.6m square meters of space.
