Part-Time Accounting Assistant
Location: Pottstown, PA Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
A growing manufacturing company in Pottstown is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support their accounting team. This role offers a consistent weekly schedule and the opportunity to contribute to key financial operations in a collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- Monday: 8-hour day (Payroll support)
- Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and administrative support)
- Friday: Off
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing and running payroll on a weekly basis
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Enter invoices, payments, and financial data accurately
- Reconcile basic account discrepancies as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with payroll processing required
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in basic accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
