About the role
Key Tasks
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support VAT returns, PAYE, and Corporation Tax filings.
- Liaise with external auditors and support year‑end audit processes.
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial insight and reports to management to support strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role within the UK.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Compensation and Work Details
- Full‑time, permanent position with a salary range of 500,000.00 - 900,000.00 per year.
- Work schedule: day shift.
- Work location: in person.
