As a member of the Finance team and as a new Glass Canada family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills, and backgrounds.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, coding, and payment preparation
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery slips, and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and processing payments (cheques, EFTs, or other methods) in a timely manner
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records and tracking systems
  • Process customer invoices, ensuring proper coding
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues
  • Assist with other general accounting and administrative duties as required

What You Will Need:

  • Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting is required
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous experience using SAGE 300 is considered a strong asset
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and problem-solve effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Professional, reliable, and able to manage sensitive financial information with discretion
