About the role
Job Description
We are seeking an Asset Reference Data Analyst to join our dynamic team within Instrument, Pricing & Common Reference Data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fixed income, fund valuation, pricing, and market data operations and a proven ability to deliver accurate reference data, resolve data quality issues, and partner with technology to improve processes using AI-enabled tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily validation in the firm's strategic reference data applications to ensure data quality and completeness.
- Collaborate with market data vendors and technology teams to investigate and remediate data issues and drive quality enhancements.
- Complete daily and monthly production tasks within established deadlines and controls.
- Address client and stakeholder queries promptly and professionally with effective follow-up.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to support product enhancements and client-focused solutions.
- Escalate issues in a timely manner and provide clear documentation to supervisors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in fixed income, fund valuation, pricing, or related financial markets roles.
- Understanding of bonds, stock markets, corporate actions, index benchmarking, and fixed income products.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail under deadline pressure.
- Effective communication skills with ability to work in a team and across departments.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Market data vendor exposure, such as Bloomberg or Reuters, is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferred fields include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience or exposure to AI/ML tools or analytics platforms such as Alteryx or Tableau.
- Demonstrated flexibility, fast learning, and team orientation.
Work Schedule & Process
- Onsite, five days per week. Standard hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with periodic rotation to a 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift.
- Occasional overtime based on volume.
- Two interview rounds, including one in person.
- Role is not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support.
- Recent graduates are welcome.
