Role Overview

100% Remote | USD-Equivalent Pay | Long-Term Role | US Client Exposure

You will own the full accounting function for US-based businesses — not execute tasks for someone else. This is a stable, long-term remote role with direct access to US CFOs and Controllers, built for experienced South African accounting professionals ready to work at a higher level.

SAIPA, SAICA, and CIMA-qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You Will Own

• Full-cycle accounting for US clients — AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Month-end close process — owned end-to-end, with minimal supervision
• Financial statements and management packs under US GAAP
• General ledger accuracy across multiple US client accounts
• Direct partnerships with US Controllers, CFOs, and business stakeholders
• Process improvement, audit preparation, and compliance readiness

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to US GAAP or international standards (IFRS background considered)
• SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification preferred
• Proven ability to handle end-to-end accounting independently
• ERP proficiency — QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar
• Strong English communication skills and comfort working with foreign clients
• Availability for US time zone overlap (partial or full)
