Revenue & Technical Mastery

• Champion ASC 606 for IT/professional services: Review contracts, nail performance obligations, and handle variable consideration.
• Craft airtight technical memos on revenue, standards, deals, and gray areas.
• Team up with Legal, Sales, and Ops to spot contract accounting gotchas.

Ops & Close Excellence

• Run monthly/quarterly/annual closes on time, every time.
• Own GL, JEs, reconciliations, and financials; master deferred revenue, WIP, accruals, and project billing.

Systems & Innovation

• NetSuite revenue guru: Optimize modules, reporting, and workflows.
• Supercharge processes, controls, and docs for hypergrowth.
• Champion automations, integrations, and upgrades.

Audit & Compliance Pro

• Lead external audit interactions.
• Power through audits, reviews, and tech queries.
• Lock in GAAP, controls, and policy compliance.

Leadership & Impact

• Mentor accounting team with coaching and feedback.
• Cross-collaborate with FP&A, Ops, IT, and execs.
• Tackle projects, M&A, and ad-hoc wins.

Must-Haves

• CPA (non-negotiable).
• Big 4/national firm audit or tech accounting experience.
• ASC 606 wizardry + rock-solid US GAAP.
• Memo-writing prowess.
